Precision Assembly was founded in 2003 by partners Nicky Moore and Terry McCormick. The partners began approaching local companies inquiring about odd jobs that could be outsources to Precision Assembly. The General Electric Company (GE) was the first business to outsource an assembly job to the partners, and the two completed every assembly job that came in. In time, employees were hired and Precision Assembly's operations outgrew its building in Bethel Spring, Tn. As God's providence would plan it, Nicky and Terry rented a warehouse built by a relative and moved the business to the Industrial Park in Selmer, where the company currently employees 40 people. The business continued to grow, and a few years later the partners bought a second building in the Industrial Park where all metal assembly and production is completed by 10 employees.
Precision Assembly has grown from an odd-and-end factory to a unique business whose structure benefits many companies across a range of industries. The business contains four divisions: wood shop, metal shop, cardboard boxes and plastic bags, as well as product reclamation services. Each division is committed and equipped to fabricate, manufacture, and/or assemble any product.
Precision Assembly specializes in custom fabrication offering:
-

When asked how they came up with their unique business plan, the partners joke that when faced with unemployment, "We were hungry and needed work so we found it!" Today Nicky and Terry regularly employs over 50 employees.
